lyrics
remember when you asked me to paint you all my dreams
i told you a sailboat no compass just us and an open sea
i’ll sing like a siren, out island is floating,
the sail in the blue sky is our only curtain
i’ll show you a spiral
staircase that only your eyes can see
i’ll spin your walls around
around like spirals
won’t you go all the way down
down like spirals, like spirals
like spiral stairs to a cave by the ocean
unravel all for you
all for you
all for you
remember when our paradise was green grapevines and leaves
do you remember when the shorelines grew for you and me
i’ll build you a house where the hallways will always
lead you to bedrooms where i will be waiting
i’ll show you a spiral
staircase that only your eyes can see
i’ll spin your walls around
around like spirals
won’t you go all the way down
down like spirals, like spirals
like spiral stairs to a cave by the ocean
unravel all for you
all for you
all for you

my third favorite album on bandcamp behind, lacheques celebration, and sewerslvt's we had good times together, don't forget that
every song hits close to home and contains songs that everyone has heard once or twice on the internet (swaggersouls) overall, the entire album is a much hear. malyx
Where have you been all of my musical life? Expertly crafted, beautifully done, an easy favorite. River of Darkness with the exquisite sax work just flows so terrifically and gives me goosebumps listening to all of the combined sounds. Drop this on CD so I can jam down the highway in my '95 Stealth jmandodge87
Meishi Smile's 2nd full-length offers several shades of synth-laden exuberance, blurring '80s sheen with darker pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 6, 2015
